کیا بوڈاخیل کو کسی دوسرے قبیلے کی شاخ کہنا درست ہے ؟


قدیم پشتون تاریخ زیادہ تر زبانی روایات اور قبائلی رواج پر مبنی رہی ہے، جس کی وجہ سے کئی چھوٹے خیل کتابی تاریخ میں نمایاں نہیں ہو سکے۔ بوڈاخیل بھی ایسا ہی ایک خیل ہے جس کی اہمیت زیادہ تر سماجی اور ثقافتی سطح پر رہی ہے۔ اسی لیے انہیں کسی دوسرے قبیلے کی محض ایک شاخ قرار دینا تاریخی طور پر درست نہیں سمجھا جاتا، کیونکہ اس سے ان کی آزاد پشتون شناخت متاثر ہوتی ہے۔


Is it correct to call the Bodakhel a branch of another tribe?


Ancient Pashtun history has largely been based on oral traditions and tribal customs, which is why many smaller sub-tribes do not appear prominently in written history. The Bodakhel are one such sub-tribe whose importance has mostly been on a social and cultural level. Therefore, considering them merely as a branch of another tribe is not historically accurate, as it would affect their independent Pashtun identity.
